Ice Glass 15 mm Glass Mosaic Tiles – Transparent and Opaque Colours

Ice Glass 15 mm glass mosaic tiles are double-sided, gently curved glass tiles with an iridescent finish on one side. The range includes both transparent and opaque colours and mixes. Their lively glass surface reflects light beautifully and adds depth, shine and changing light effects to mosaic projects.

Both sides of each Ice Glass tile can be used. By simply turning the same tile over, you can choose between the regular coloured glass surface and the shimmering iridescent side. Using both sides in the same project creates subtle variations in shine, colour and light reflection.

Transparent or Opaque Ice Glass?

Transparent Ice Glass tiles allow light to pass through and are particularly suitable for lanterns, glass projects and other mosaics where transparency and light effects can become part of the design.

Opaque Ice Glass tiles create stronger, more clearly defined colour areas and work well on plant pots, mirrors, boxes, frames, decorative objects, wall decorations and mosaic art.

Transparent and opaque colours can also be combined in the same project to create contrast, depth and varied light effects.

Size, Shape and Cutting

Ice Glass tiles measure approximately 15 × 15 mm and are around 4–4.5 mm thick. The square tiles have a gently curved surface that gives them their characteristic lively appearance.

The tiles are easy to cut with wheeled glass nippers and can be shaped for borders, curved designs, smaller details and irregular spaces.
