Transparent Ice Glass 15 mm Tiles for Light-Filled Mosaic Projects

Transparent Ice Glass 15 mm glass mosaic tiles are made from coloured glass that allows light to pass through beautifully. Their gently curved surface reflects the light and adds depth, variation and shimmering detail to the finished mosaic.

A distinctive feature of Ice Glass is that the tiles can be used on both sides. One side is iridescent, allowing you to choose between a clear transparent glass surface and a shimmering effect that changes with the light. Using both sides in the same project creates subtle variations in shine and colour intensity.

The tiles measure approximately 15 × 15 mm and are easy to cut with mosaic nippers. They can therefore be shaped to fit borders, curved designs, smaller details and irregular spaces.

What Can Transparent Ice Glass Tiles Be Used For?

Transparent shades are especially suitable for projects where light plays an important part in the finished effect. Use them for lanterns, light bottles, glass projects, decorations near windows, mirrors and mosaic art.

Ice Glass for Outdoor Use

Ice Glass is frost resistant and suitable for both indoor and outdoor projects.

For outdoor projects, the base, mosaic adhesive or other suitable fixing material, and the grout must be suitable for exterior use, changing weather conditions and the intended application.
