Mini Crystal Mix tiles are supplied as loose tiles, ready for arranging and gluing straight from the bag. They are not mounted on mesh, paper, plastic film or contact sheets, so there is no need to soak, detach or dry them before starting your project.

A ready-made mix makes it easy to create a coordinated colour palette. Use the assortment on its own for a lively surface or combine it with single-colour Mini Crystal tiles to highlight selected shades or create a calmer overall design.

The 10 mm format works well for patterns, borders, lettering, details and smaller colour areas. The tiles are small enough for precise placement while remaining easy to handle in first mosaic projects.

What Do the Colour and Finish Look Like?

In most Mini Crystal tiles, the colour comes from the coated backing beneath the glass surface. This gives the tiles a strong colour and a clear, glass-like appearance, but they are not described as transparent. If a mix contains Clear tiles, those tiles are clear and transparent.

Colour Combinations

Use a Mini Crystal Mix assortment on its own or combine it with single-colour Mini Crystal tiles, Mini Classic, Mini Iridescent, Goldlink, Glitter, mirror mosaic and Joy-Glass tiles.

For a calmer design, combine the mix with one or two single-colour Mini Crystal shades. For a more lively and expressive surface, use the mix more generously and add a small amount of iridescent, metallic or glitter-effect tiles.
