Mini Glitter 10 mm Glass Mosaic as Loose Tiles and Mosaic Sheets

Mini Glitter 10 mm glass mosaic adds colour, shine and a sparkling glitter effect to mosaic projects. The range is available both as loose glass mosaic tiles and as mesh-mounted mosaic sheets with 10 × 10 mm square tiles.

The compact size works well for details, borders, lettering, patterns and smaller colour areas. Loose tiles provide freedom for precise placement, while mosaic sheets make it easier to cover larger and more even surfaces.

The glitter effect is located on the back of each tile. The front surface remains smooth and glossy, while the sparkle shows through the glass with a vivid, layered appearance. The tiles are not translucent.

Loose Tiles or Mosaic Sheets?

Mini Glitter loose tiles are ideal for details, accents, borders, lettering, small patterns and free placement. They are ready to use straight from the pack and do not need to be removed from mesh, paper or film.

Mini Glitter mosaic sheets are a practical choice for larger and more even surfaces. The tiles are mounted on mesh, so the sheet can be used whole or cut into smaller sections. Individual tiles can also be removed from the mesh when needed.

Pack Sizes and Approximate Coverage

• 50 g loose tiles: approx. 56 tiles, covering about 9 × 9 cm
• 500 g loose tiles: approx. 560 tiles, covering about 28 × 28 cm
• Sheet with 81 tiles: small mesh-mounted mosaic sheet, covering about 10 × 10 cm
• Sheet with 841 tiles: large mesh-mounted mosaic sheet, approx. 31.5 × 31.5 cm

Coverage for loose tiles is based on an approx. 2 mm grout gap. Tile placement, cutting, grout width, sheet cutting and the shape of the project affect the final coverage.

What Is Mini Glitter 10 mm Suitable For?

Mini Glitter glass mosaic is suitable for mosaic pictures, boxes, frames, mirrors, signs, craft bases, decorative objects and smaller interior projects.

The 10 mm format works well for borders, lettering, flowers, hearts, small motifs and other decorative details. Loose tiles can be used whole or cut into smaller shapes with a double-wheeled nipper.

Glitter Effect and Recommended Use

The glitter effect is applied to the back of the glass, leaving the front surface smooth and glossy. The sparkle remains visible through the glass, adding depth and light-reflecting detail to the surface.

The tiles are frost-resistant, but the glitter effect may fade over time outdoors or with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. For this reason, Mini Glitter is recommended primarily for indoor use and for areas that are not continuously exposed to strong sunlight.

For outdoor use, the substrate, adhesive and grout must also be suitable for exterior applications and the intended project.

Mini Glitter combines well with Mini Classic, Mini Iridescent, Mini Goldlink, Mini Crystal, mirror mosaic and Joy-Glass. Glitter tiles can be used across an entire surface or as smaller sparkling accents among other colours.
