Colorall Cold Enamel creates a decorative enamel-like finish that can be used to embellish all kinds of objects. It can be used straight from the bottle and creates an end result with a beautiful glossy shine. The colours do not run into each other, but they can be drawn through each other with a sharp item such as a needle or a pin. Be careful to avoid splashes because they will not wash out!
General instructions on how to use Cold enamel
The surface you are going to paint must be smooth, clean and dry. It must also be free of dust, grease and any other irregularities. Cold Enamel must be applied to a flat surface so the colours do not run into each other. It is not suitable for use on concave and convex surfaces because the paint will run. Do a small test piece to start with to test the paint and the surface. Allow the Cold enamel to harden and dry thoroughly. This will take approximately 24 hours. The paint will retain its beautiful glossy shine after it has dried. Cold Enamel works best at room temperature. Wear a painting apron while applying the enamel because splashes will not wash out.
How to apply Cold Enamel
Start by applying the base colour(s): apply a generous layer of paint straight from the bottle. Then drip other colours onto the base colours and draw a needle, a nail, a cocktail stick or another sharp item through the Cold Enamel to create the enamel effect. Work from the middle of the drop outwards, like a sun, drawing the paint through the other colours. Repeat this with all of the drops until you achieve the desired result.
