Mini Glass Gems 12 mm, Black Magic, 200 g
Black Magic Optic Drops for dark colour fields and iridescent contrasts
Black Magic contains round 12 mm Mini Glass Gems, also known as Optic Drops, in black, charcoal and mid-grey shades, together with strongly iridescent pieces. The iridescent surfaces reveal blue, turquoise, violet, green and gold highlights as the light and viewing angle change. This dark, expressive mix is ideal for graphic patterns, night skies, animal motifs, wings, abstract designs and other mosaic projects where you want depth and striking colour-shifting shine.
The flat backs make the pieces easy to glue, while their round, domed tops add shine and dimension to mosaic designs. The Optic Drops can be used on their own or combined with glass mosaic tiles, mirror mosaic and other speciality-shaped mosaic pieces.

What is Black Magic suitable for?
Black Magic is particularly suitable for night skies, moons and stars, ravens, cats, dragonfly and butterfly wings, eyes, graphic borders and dark abstract patterns. The gems can be used to decorate plant pots, lanterns, mirrors, trays, ornaments, wall decorations and garden features.
The 200 g pack is suitable for medium-sized mosaic projects, larger motifs and designs where black and grey shades are used for colour fields, borders or contrasts that emphasise the iridescent shine.
Expert tip
Combine Black Magic with silver, mirror mosaic or deep blue for a cool and dramatic palette. White, turquoise or vivid violet makes the multicoloured iridescent highlights stand out particularly well.
