Ottoman 8 mm Glass Mosaic, Black Opal, 200 g
Glossy Black Opal Glass Mosaic for Dark Areas and Contrast
Ottoman Black Opal is a glossy 8 × 8 mm glass mosaic in a very dark shade, ideal for outlines, shading, small designs and strong decorative details. The deep, almost black colour adds clear contrast, structure and depth to mosaic work. Black Opal works well both for building dark areas and for making surrounding colours stand out.
The smooth, highly glossy glass surface reflects light and gives the almost black shade a lively, refined appearance. Gently rounded edges and corners give the finished mosaic surface a soft and polished look.

What Is Black Opal Suitable For?
The compact 8 × 8 mm size is particularly suitable for outlines, shadows, details in eyes and faces, dark areas of animals, buildings, lettering, borders, pixel mosaics and small pictorial designs. The tiles can be used on plant pots, lanterns, mirrors, decorative objects, wall decorations and garden ornaments.
The larger 200 g pack is a practical choice when the same Black Opal shade is needed across a wider area, as a dark background, for extensive shading or in several details within the same mosaic project.
Expert Tip
Combine Black Opal with grey and white shades to create a clear dark-to-light range and strong contrast. Bright reds, yellows, blues and greens stand out strikingly beside the almost black shade.
