Ottoman 8 mm Iridescent Glass Mosaic, Merbau, 200 g
Iridescent Merbau Glass Mosaic for Dark Natural Colour Schemes
Ottoman Merbau is an iridescent 8 × 8 mm glass mosaic in a dark mahogany-brown shade, ideal for animal motifs, pixel mosaics and warm decorative details. The deep brown colour combines chocolate brown, mahogany and a subtle burgundy undertone. Its pearlescent finish refracts light and creates copper, bronze, violet and subtly blue reflections.
The iridescent glass surface gives Merbau a dark, warm and multi-tonal appearance. The colour changes with the lighting and viewing angle, while gently rounded edges and corners give the finished mosaic a soft and refined look.

What Is Merbau Suitable For?
The compact 8 × 8 mm size is particularly suitable for animal fur, birds, tree trunks, branches, shadows, borders, pixel mosaics and dark decorative patterns. The tiles can be used on plant pots, lanterns, mirrors, decorative objects, wall decorations and garden ornaments.
The larger 200 g pack is a practical choice for larger mosaic projects where Merbau is used as a continuous dark colour area, background shade or in several shaded sections and details within the same design.
Expert Tip
Combine Merbau with Toffee, cream, copper or terracotta for a warm and natural colour scheme. Turquoise, forest green or pale blue creates a strong and interesting contrast beside the dark mahogany-brown shade.
